Magnetic Levitation System

For a lab class at MIT (6.302 - Feedback Systems), I designed, built, tested, and compensated a magnetic levitation system. An object (with an attached magnet) is suspended below a solenoid by measuring the magnetic field strength (Hall-Effect Sensor) and feeding the value back to a pulse width modulation chip. The PWM output is used to control an H-Bridge motor control chip which, in this case, controls the solenoid.

Feel free to read my Magnetic Levitation System project writeup if you are interested.
